Hello world! You can call me May. I love to write, explore, and talk a lot. In 2020, I finished my Master’s Degree in English from East Carolina University from studying Technical Writing and Creative Writing. I currently own and run a business, Bimeizine (bee-may-zing), and I do freelance/contract work on the side.

hobbies

I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, learning/practicing new/familiar languages, and am currently experimenting with conlang. That’s when you construct your own language :)

I also used to enjoy traveling a lot, but stopped because of this ratchet economy.

  • I was born in Texas near Corpus Christi to two Chinese immigrants. My parents, sister, and I moved to North Carolina when I was a child, and I’ve lived mostly there ever since. Just recently, I moved to the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) area.

  • It’s like therapy, but $FREE.99, which is the best kind of therapy. As mentioned above, I also enjoy talking a lot, so writing is like talking in a kind of way, but more imaginative and creative.
